We are so excited to share that Gabe of Gabe's Makerspace will lead a small group in designing and building raised beds. While you will not leave the session with a raised bed (they are big!), you will learn the basic joining/carpentry techniques needed to construct a raised bed out of lumber.
During the session, the following will be covered:
Power Tool Safety: Proper use of circular saws, miter saws, and drills. Design & Materials: Key considerations and tradeoffs between different construction styles. Hands-on Training: Each attendee will learn how to measure, cut, drill, and bolt strong, long-lasting raised-bed gardens. The workshop will not be covering filling the bed or growing techniques.
