Flower Photo Walk at the Acton Arboretum with Joan Celebi

Come enjoy an afternoon among friends at the lovely Acton Arboretum! We will learn 10 quick tips for beautiful flower and garden photography, then venture out among the gardens and blooms to use our new skills and techniques. This workshop is for everyone, whether you’re using a smartphone or camera, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned photographer. Some surprisingly simple concepts that you may not expect can transform your flower photography from pretty flower photos to little works of art! We will also explore the use of some nifty gadgets such as reflectors, diffusers, continuous lighting, fun backdrops, Lensball, tripods, and special effect attachments for your phone camera. After taking some time for photographing and sharing ideas, we will meet back together to share our favorite photo from the afternoon. You'll take away photos you'll be proud to share, and perhaps even make into collages, cards, framed prints, and more!

Joan Celebi is a local photographer specializing in event, branding, and lifestyle photography.
