Have you ever considered sowing seeds in an effective, low-tech way that ensures hardier seedlings and less stress? Join the Maynard Community Gardeners for a workshop on winter sowing. We'll discuss how to plan for your 2023 garden dreams and get seeds in soil, then guide participants through "upcycling" plastic containers to create DIY mini-greenhouses; we'll also cover the common mistakes in winter sowing and how to avoid them. Soil will be provided, along with some containers and seeds, but participants are encouraged to bring their own, in addition to gardening gloves; further instructions will be provided after registration.
