Barbara's garden has fruit trees, blueberry bushes, raspberries in buckets, a vegetable garden, several perennial beds and a 20 x 30 vegetable garden. We have many native plants, many of which were added last year and this year as part of the bee project started last year by Lizza and continued this year with SVT. Trees on the property include redbuds, magnolia virginiana (sweet bay), river birches, and a linden tree. In our vegetable garden we have planted broccoli, kale, collards, tomatoes, peppers, Bull’s blood beets, swiss chard, amaranth, golden pursulane, ground cherries, purple perilla, and all our usual herbs.
