Seed Starting Success Workshop at Daisy Hill Farm *Member Only Event*

Grow your own healthy vegetable, flower, and herb plants from seed! Starting your own seeds allows you to choose your own specific plant varieties, plus it is a great way to bypass those late-winter blues. This workshop will take place in the grow room of Daisy Hill Farm, a local organic farm that produces over 300 varieties of seedlings for local gardeners. You will learn about sourcing high quality seeds, tips for storing seeds, seed structure and the different conditions they need for success, what soil and containers to use to grow your seedlings, timing of starting different types of seedlings, how to water them properly, potting up plants, how to set up an indoor grow light system, how to avoid fungal diseases with proper ventilation, how to safely harden off seedlings for their move outside, and more! This is a Member Only Event. If interested in becoming a Member, check out our 'Get Involved' page for more information
