Emily and John began their gardening adventure two years ago when they moved to Maynard. Their goal was to create a beautiful outdoor space where they could relax and enjoy nature. They wanted a little sanctuary of their own amidst the looming specter of the pandemic. The idea of the outdoor space is to have different zones created by both plants and hardscaping- the front ornamental flower beds, raised beds for vegetables and herbs on around the side, a cool green moss garden hidden in a back corner, and a relaxing patio space for hosting friends. It is still a work in progress with some plans for future years made, but suggestions and ideas are always welcome!
