Are you drowning in cucumbers and not sure what to do with them all? Do you find your produce going bad before your family can finish it? Do you wish there was an easy way to extend the life of your food without canning or complex machines?
Join us August 23rd at 6:30pm for a class on food preservation to learn the basics of fermentation. You'll leave with the knowledge on how to safely preserve cucumbers and cabbage at home - not to mention a jar of your very own soon-to-be sauerkraut to take home!
Sponsored by Maynard Community Gardeners (MCG), the class will be held at Sanctuary in Maynard, MA. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.
FREE for members of the Maynard Community Gardeners
$10/person for non-members
Payment will be accepted on the day of the event - or if you wish to join MCG, you will have the opportunity to do so at the event and attend for free! Please register via Eventbrite to ensure your spot in the class is saved.
